Together we will focus on your concerns and prioritise any stresses or issues that you are experiencing. We will explore the past and present and look at any learnt patterns of behaviour or thought that may have developed.
I recommend 10 to 12 sessions as a minimum, these will be on a weekly basis.
On our first meeting together we will go through an assessment which will give me some information on your background and presenting issues etc. It is a time for us to decide if we feel comfortable and if my style of counselling suits you.
We will discuss the contract and what day and time is best for you.
It is preferable to try and have the same day each week if possible.
There really is no answer to how many sessions you'll require, it depends on many different factors but I will check in with you from time to time to see how you feel you are progressing.
Each session will be 50 minutes.
