How I Work

I offer a range of counselling services tailored to your needs and preferences.

For individual counselling, you can choose from:

  • Face-to-face sessions in a safe, confidential space, allowing time to prepare and process.
     
  • Telephone counselling  for those who prefer voice-only conversations, to create your own familiar surroundings

  • Zoom sessions offering flexibility and access from the comfort of your own space. The benefits from seeing each other helps build a therapeutic relationship.

I currently offer sessions online via Zoom, making it easier for both partners to attend from wherever they are.

 No matter the format or approach, my aim is the same: to offer a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

In my work I use an integrative counselling approach. This means I draw on different therapeutic models to create a way of working that best supports you as an individual.

Depending on what you bring to counselling, I may draw from approaches such as:

  • Person-centred therapy  offering empathy, acceptance, and a non-judgemen

  • Person-centred therapy  offering empathy, acceptance, and a non-judgemental space to explore your feelings
     
  • Psychodynamic therapy  helping to understand how past experiences may be influencing your present. Patterns and values and childhood beliefs which may not be useful now. 


  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)  offering practical tools to manage unhelpful thoughts, anxiety, and stress
     
  • Gestalt therapy  supporting awareness of the present moment and how thoughts, feelings, and behaviours connect in the here and now
     
  • Transactional analysis and inner child work  encouraging self-awareness, healing, and personal growth
